1976 GL1000 LTD Ready for GWRRA's 30th Anniversary

Craig Bradshaw is one of GWRRA NY Chapter W's newest participants. He brings to the table an interest in the oldies. He has recently completed the re-birth of his pride and joy 1976 GL1000 LTD.

The bike is ready to celebrate the 30th anniversary of GWRRA, as Craig's intention for this near perfect LTD is to ride. This bike has been in storage for the last 22 years. The work required to get the oldie running again included changing all the fluids, checking all adjustable items (timing, ignition, valves) rebuilding the carburetors and brakes.

What a pleasant moment it was to hear the machine chug back too life. After a synchronization of the carburetors down the street she flew. He is also the proud owner of a 1987 GL1200 that he and his late wife spent many happy miles together on. Craig finds that the 76 with its' lighter weight and shorter turning radius is more to his liking as he progresses in age.

The next project brings the 1956 Ariel 500 up from the basement to get her done.
